Business and achievements
In 2018, he ranked 538th on the Dubai World Millionaires List among foreigners with a net worth of over $7 million.

He controls 81.82% of LaWell JSC in London (his son, Maksat Bazarbekov, owns the remaining 7.5%). As of January 1, 2026, his assets amounted to 3.6 billion tenge, with his equity capital amounting to 459 million tenge. 

According to the Stock Market, in May 2023, LaWell JSC paid out 4.03 billion tenge in dividends, of which approximately 40.12 billion was attributable to Duman Bazarbekov, which, at the exchange rate on the payment start date, amounted to $90.67 million.

He owns 25% of the MAK Group corporation  (an asset management company), with the remaining shares held by his sons in equal shares of 25% each. He owns a 15% stake in the light industry through Loft-Group in Kyrgyzstan. He is partnering with development companies in Georgia on the construction of the AMBASSODORI ISLAND BATUMI project, where he maintains his own office, MAK Group Batumi.

He is a co-owner of a Malaysian franchise in the medical services sector and a co-owner of a fast food chain in Uzbekistan. The group's Asian business region is part of the KAZAKH HOLDING holding company. 
International investments
Duman Bazarbekov is the largest shareholder  in Barwa Real Estate JSC  in Qatar, holding a 36.4% stake through the Doha-based investment company Invest MAK Group LLP. He is the majority owner of QAZAQ PROPERTY INVEST,
a real estate brokerage firm   in Dubai (UAE), where he has partners in RDS INVESTMENTS, a company specializing in trading, asset funding, and cryptocurrency trading. He also chairs the board of directors  of TORGOVIY PRODUKT JSC , which operates the TORGOVIY PRODUKT and Next Capital retail chains in major cities across Kazakhstan.

He is a lawyer, economist, and psychologist by education. He manages a trading company in Kazakhstan, owns the logistics company CARGOKZ, and is a co-founder of a beverage production complex in Azerbaijan.
Maksat Bazarbekov Eldest son
He graduated from London Primary School. Since 2012, he has been a shareholder in his father's group of companies. In October 2021, he became a co-owner of a transformation company in Doha, Qatar. Previously, he co-owned a zinc smelter in Taiwan for four years.
Amirbek Bazarbekov Middle son
Since his early years, he has been developing digital solutions for companies in the metallurgical, coal, and chemical industries. He holds the rank of "Master of Sports" in middleweight boxing.
Kazbek Bazarbekov Youngest son
He is receiving a Kazakh-American education. He plans to take over the management of his father's holding company in 10 years.
